We do not sell user data. We do not use your recordings for advertising. We do not share your contact information with marketing partners.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist with operations and communications, subject to confidentiality obligations. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging origination opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. SMS Messaging Data
When you opt in to receive promotional SMS messages from Hands Up App, your phone number, opt-in status, and message history are stored solely for SMS service delivery. This data is treated as a closed loop — it is not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. To opt out, reply STOP to any SMS message you receive.
6. Recordings and User Content
You own your recordings. Recordings are uploaded over an encrypted connection and stored in your account. Access to recordings is limited to you and to authorized engineering personnel responding to a documented support or security request. We will not voluntarily disclose recordings except as required by valid legal process.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored recordings, access controls, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you remain responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
8. Your Rights
You may access, correct, delete, or export your account data at any time through the application or by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove your recordings and metadata from our active systems within a reasonable period, subject to limited backup retention required for security purposes.
9. International Users
The service is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that information will be processed and stored in the United States and that data protection laws may differ from those of your home country.
10. Children
The service is not intended for, and not directed at, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at handsuptheapp.com and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
